Sometimes a client will admit that their brand colors are spot on—but deep down, their team really loves the color purple.
In 2020, the North Central Regional Center for Rural Development (NCRCRD) was relocated to Purdue University. As part of this move, NCRCRD needed a completely new visual identity. We created a new logo that represents their three systems and thematic areas, and we also designed and developed a new website. With no photography available for the site, we created custom illustrations and icons to give it a bright, colorful platform for delivering information and resources. And as luck would have it, we were able to work in some purple.

“In 2020, Purdue was finally given the opportunity to host this prestigious center. The previous site had been hosted by another university, so we worked with Jackson Sky to develop new branding and a new website. As always, the process was fun, affordable and resulted in a truly beautiful virtual space for us and our stakeholders. The project involved quite a bit of content management, team dialogue and effective communication between Purdue, the NCRCRD and Jackson Sky. In the end, our Board, stakeholders and team were thrilled with the results.”
